Every jewelry business is associated with its story. The story of Kapoor Bangles began in 1984 with manufacturing of gold bangles and then slowly expanded into a more general story of manufacturing of jewelry, jewelry development, understanding of market needs and relationships with business partners.
Now Kapoor Bangles is known as a 1 Gram Gold Jewelry Manufacturer and Wholesaler in Delhi and works with jewelry retail shops, wholesalers, jewelry resellers and other jewelry companies in North India and even further away. However, it took Kapoor Bangles many years of learning, experimenting, understanding of the client’s needs, development of jewelry, supplier relationships, developing display collection, setting up our own showroom and constant improvement of manufacturing skills to reach such an accomplished status.
Here is a short history of how Kapoor Bangles transformed into a well-known manufacturer of 1 Gram Gold Jewelry.
1984: Where the Kapoor Bangles Journey Began
Kapoor Bangles was established in Delhi in 1984. From the very beginning its main task was manufacturing of gold bangles. Thus the company’s name is derived from the very product it manufactures. In those times our focus was understanding of bangles, learning of the craft and figuring out the ways to improve the product.
We believe that a jewelry business can only grow strong if it has a good understanding of its craft. Hence we invested our time in developing experience in jewelry manufacturing rather than trying to perform all tasks at once. That became a basis for future success of Kapoor Bangles.
From Bangles to a Wider Jewellery Journey
As the business was evolving our interests and experience slowly expanded beyond bangles. From 1984 till 2017 we explored different jewelry lines and got to know about general jewelry market. However, we never tried to expand too fast.
We were focused on understanding of the right manufacturing model, product and most importantly of market needs. We spent about two years perfecting our manufacturing model. Perfection for us did not mean producing one outstanding piece of jewelry but developing jewelry that would correspond to the expectations of retailers, wholesalers and customers
We Started by Understanding People and Their Requirements
One of the most significant lessons we learned was that the manufacturing of jewelry is impossible without understanding of people who deal with jewelry on a daily basis.
So, we started interacting more closely with people in the jewellery trade.
We listened to their requirements.
We understood their preferences.
We observed what customers were asking for.
We learned what retailers wanted to display in their stores and what wholesalers were looking for when building their collections.
This direct interaction helped us understand an important reality:
A jewellery manufacturer needs to understand the market before creating for the market.
Instead of assuming what people wanted, we started learning directly from them.
That approach became a major part of the Kapoor Bangles philosophy.
From Requirements to Sample Jewellery
After we began to understand market needs, we started to transform them into real jewelry. We developed samples of jewelry, displayed jewelry and got to know the market needs through this process of developing samples. We treated the sample development as a continuous process of learning and improving.
It was a process of:
Create → Display → Understand → Take Feedback → Improve → Create Again.
This process helped us gradually improve our understanding of design, finishing and market demand.
It also gave us the confidence to develop more jewellery collections under our own direction.
Building Our Own Jewellery Supply Network
As our manufacturing and product development activities expanded, we also began building relationships with suppliers who could support our growing requirements.
We understood that successful jewellery manufacturing depends on an entire ecosystem.
It involves:
- Product development
- Design
- Materials
- Suppliers
- Craftsmanship
- Manufacturing
- Finishing
- Quality
- Presentation
- Market understanding
Every part of this process has an impact on the final jewellery piece.
Building reliable supplier relationships therefore became an important part of our journey.
Developing Our Own Showroom

We gained confidence with the increase in experience in producing our jewellery and decided to proceed further by creating our own showroom.
The showroom provided us with a direct contact with the jewellery trade.
It allowed us to present our collections to the owners of jewellery businesses and get the feeling about their responses to different designs.
It also allowed us to get direct feedback about our collections from the retail and wholesale companies that we were selling our jewellery to.
Manufacturing, display and market feedback provided us with opportunities for improving our collections.
The Beginning of Our 1 Gram Gold Jewellery Journey
The greatest milestone of the Kapoor Bangles history was associated with 2016–2017, when we started developing our own 1 Gram Gold Jewellery manufacturing process.
Instead of adding 1 Gram Gold Jewellery as one more category, we proceeded in line with the philosophy of our company by understanding the category, creating our samples, getting customer requirements and working on the improvement of the designs and finishing.
The process needed time, experiments and constant improvements.
The goal was clear – we wanted to create jewellery that could be successfully presented to their customers by the retailers, wholesalers and resellers.
2017: A New Chapter for Kapoor Bangles
2017 became an important year in our journey.
We started to develop our own 1 Gram Gold Jewellery manufacturing process and create our own showroom around our growing jewellery collections.
Simultaneously, we started establishing contacts with the wholesalers, retailers and other B2B jewellery businesses.
This significantly changed our perception of our business.
We were not just manufacturing jewellery anymore.
We were building relationships with people that would bring our jewellery to the customers from different markets.
Our approach became:
Manufacture → Display → Understand → Improve → Supply → Build Relationships
This continues to influence how we work today.
Why Retailers Became an Important Part of Our Journey
Jewellery retailers have a unique understanding of customers.
They see which designs attract attention.
They hear what customers ask for.
They understand seasonal demand.
They know which styles work for weddings, festivals and everyday wear.
They learn about how customers’ tastes evolve over time.
We have learned the practical issues related to the market for jewellery through our interaction with the retailers.
In the case of Kapoor Bangles, retailers are not just customers.
They are also an important source of market insight.
Their feedback helps us understand what jewellery businesses need and what customers are looking for.
Our Relationship With Wholesalers
Wholesalers have their own important role in the jewellery chain.
Since a wholesaler usually works with a number of different retailers in different markets, he needs a wider variety of designs and a reliable supply.
In the course of working with wholesalers, we learnt the importance of:
- Design variety
- Consistent finishing
- Market-relevant collections
- Reliable supply
- Product presentation
- Long-term business relationships
Our experience as a 1 Gram Gold Jewellery Manufacturer and Wholesaler allows us to understand these requirements from a B2B perspective.
Supporting Jewellery Resellers and New Businesses
The jewellery market has also evolved with the development of reselling and new business models.
Today there are jewellery resellers operating through physical shops, online marketplaces, social media and private customer networks.
Some resellers try to expand their existing business, others try to establish a new jewellery business.
The access to the reliable jewellery manufacturer or wholesaler simplifies the process of building the jewellery collection for these businesses.
Over the years, we established connections with such businesses, where our jewellery collections were used for expanding the existing shops or even creating new jewellery businesses.
This is one of the most rewarding part of our journey as a manufacturer
Why We Chose to Focus on 1 Gram Gold Jewellery
The jewellery market keeps evolving.
Customers need variety.
They need nice designs for different occasions.
They need jewellery of different prices and with different requirements of styling.
This gives rise to a place for 1 Gram Gold Jewellery.
For the retailers, it gives an opportunity to give more choice to their customers.
For wholesalers, this is a new jewellery category that can be supplied to different jewellery markets.
For resellers, this is a new jewellery product segment, using which they can build their business
At Kapoor Bangles, our focus is to develop 1 Gram Gold Jewellery with attention to design, craftsmanship, finishing and changing market requirements.
Perfection Takes Time
The most important part of our journey is the realization of the fact that perfection cannot be reached immediately.
We spent approximately two years polishing our model before moving forward with greater confidence.
This period taught us the importance of testing and improvement.
The sample might look good, but this does not mean that it is ready to be put on the market.
We need to understand:
- How it looks when displayed
- How it is received by retailers
- What customers think about the design
- Whether the finishing meets expectations
- Whether the product works commercially
- What can be improved
This approach of continuous refinement remains important to us.
From a Name Associated With Bangles to a Wider Jewellery Identity
The name Kapoor Bangles originated from the product with which we began.
But over the years, the business grew beyond bangles.
Today, the name represents a much broader jewellery journey involving:
Manufacturing
1 Gram Gold Jewellery
Bangles
Bracelets
Chains
Rings
Festive Jewellery
Occasion Jewellery
Wholesale Jewellery
B2B Jewellery
And, most importantly, relationships with jewellery retailers, wholesalers and resellers.
Our name may have started with bangles, but our work has expanded into a much wider jewellery ecosystem.
From Delhi to a Recognised Name Across North India
When we kept establishing contacts with jewellery businesses, our network gradually grew beyond Delhi.
We started to establish contacts with the retailers, wholesalers and resellers in North India.
Gradually, the Kapoor Bangles name started becoming known in the jewellery trade.
Today people recognize the name not just because of the products that we produce, but also thanks to the efforts and relationships that we have built during all these years.
For us, it is especially meaningful since it was done gradually:
Products → Relationships → Feedback → Improvement → Trust
PJS Exhibition, Ludhiana — April 2026
Another key achievement in the history of Kapoor Bangles in the recent past was the participation in the PJS Exhibition held in Ludhiana in April 2026.
At the exhibition we had a chance to get direct contact with jewellery retailers, wholesalers, resellers and business owners to show our latest collections of 1 Gram Gold Jewellery.
The feedback we got was very encouraging.
More than 15,000+ customers and visitors visited Kapoor Bangles and had a chance to look through our jewellery collections.
The feedback regarding our designs, product range and finishing showed us what kind of business expectations we have to keep in mind.
But the most important thing in the participation in the exhibition was not only the number of visitors we had.
It was the number of business relations that have started at the exhibition.
2,000+ Stores Connected With Kapoor Bangles
During and after the Ludhiana exhibition more than 2,000+ stores started to contact Kapoor Bangles for more information, product requirements and collection enquiries.
For many businesses, the contact was not limited only by one purchase.
Many retailers and entrepreneurs started to look through our jewellery collections to start a new business or expand an existing store or start a jewellery venture.
Many of the businesses, which first contacted us at the exhibition, turned out to be our regular customers and business partners.
This is why exhibitions are important for us..
It is a place to:
Meet people.
Understand businesses.
Listen to requirements.
Show our work.
Build relationships.
And hopefully, create partnerships that continue long after the exhibition ends.
What Ludhiana Taught Us
Through the PJS Exhibition we had the chance to connect with the wide range of jewellery business communities.
We met:
- Retailers of jewellery
- Wholesalers of jewellery
- Resellers
- Present jewellery companies
- Upcoming entrepreneurs
- Business owners who were trying out new categories of jewellery
This helped us learn about the varied market demands and also get feedback on our 1 Gram Gold Jewellery ranges.
It also helped reinforce Kapoor Bangles’ relationship with the jewellery business community in North India.
From New Connections to Long-Term Customers
One of the most important results of our participation at the Ludhiana exhibition was the transformation of initial enquiries into strong business relations.
Many businesses, which first met Kapoor Bangles at the exhibition, continued contacting us after the event.
Some of them became our regular customers.
Some of them expanded their jewellery collections by our products.
And some entrepreneurs used our jewellery collections when starting their own jewellery business.
For a manufacturer such relationships are much more valuable than a simple transaction.
This means that our product and our business relations create a long-term value.
2026: Recognition for Our Work
Another milestone in the history of Kapoor Bangles appeared in 2026 year.
Kapoor Bangles got the IDA — International Dazzling Award for our work and achievements in the field of jewellery.
This recognition is especially valuable for us because it came after more than four decades of experience.
From making first bangles in 1984 to developing our 1 Gram Gold Jewellery manufacturing process, building B2B relations and getting recognition across North India, each step of our journey has helped us reach this point.
The award is just a milestone.
But the key for us still remains the process leading to this milestone.
Better designs. Better craftsmanship. Better finishing. Better understanding of our customers.
Better designs. Better craftsmanship. Better finishing. Better understanding of our customers.
Important: When publishing this section, we recommend adding the actual IDA award photograph, certificate or official award reference alongside the claim.

1984 to 2026 — And the Journey Continues
When people see Kapoor Bangles today, they may see a jewellery manufacturer and wholesaler.
But behind that identity is a journey that began in 1984.
It started with gold bangles.
It continued through years of learning.
We explored more jewellery categories.
We spent time perfecting our model.
We learned directly from the jewellery trade.
We began developing sample and display jewellery.
We built supplier relationships.
We developed our own showroom.
We started our own 1 Gram Gold Jewellery manufacturing process.
We started focusing on B2B in 2017, and we have started linking ourselves with the retailers and wholesalers.
With time, we have widened our networking area to all over North India.
At the PJS exhibition, which took place in Ludhiana in April 2026, Kapoor Bangles were showcased to more than 15,000 visitors and customers, and more than 2,000 shops got connected to us for business purposes.
Some of them became our regular customers.
Some became long-term partners.
Some used our jewellery to build or expand their own businesses.
In 2026, Kapoor Bangles also received the International Dazzling Award (IDA), adding another milestone to our journey.
And now, we are preparing for the next chapter.
Gem Jewellery Exhibition, Delhi — 28 September 2026.
Because for Kapoor Bangles, the journey has never been about reaching one final destination.
It has always been about learning, improving and building something better.
The Kapoor Bangles Philosophy
We believe jewellery manufacturing is about more than making a product.
It is about understanding the person who will sell it.
It is about understanding the customer who will wear it.
It is about understanding the market where it will be sold.
And it is about continuously improving the product in between.
That is the philosophy that has carried Kapoor Bangles from 1984 to 2026.
We started with bangles.
We learned about jewellery.
We understood the market.
We developed our own manufacturing process.
We built relationships.
And we continue to work towards perfection.
Kapoor Bangles — Since 1984
Today, Kapoor Bangles is an experienced 1 Gram Gold Jewellery Manufacturer and Wholesaler in Delhi, working with jewellery retailers, wholesalers, resellers and B2B jewellery businesses.
Our journey has been built over more than four decades through:

Market understanding.
Customer relationships.
Continuous improvement.
From the first gold bangle to today’s 1 Gram Gold Jewellery collections, every chapter has helped shape who we are.
The name Kapoor Bangles may have started with bangles.
But today, it represents a much larger jewellery journey.
A name that began with bangles.
A business that grew through jewellery.
A reputation built through experience and perfection.
